Avanti Press remains open via virtual home offices to support our customers who are providing essential services across the USA and Canada. However, we have suspended work in our Distribution Center until April 30th in adherence with state guidelines and in the interest of protecting our employees.
At its core, Avanti Press is an organization of talented, dedicated, high-character people. The current worldwide coronavirus health crisis has challenged how we work together, and Avanti has promptly adjusted its work practices via schedule shifts and/or remote access to best protect all employees, while also remaining open for business, and staying responsive to its customers.
- Effective, Monday March 16th, the company adjusted full-time staff to a universal work-at-home business setting, and established advanced cleanliness protocols at its Distribution Center.
- Effective Tuesday, March 24th, the company suspended shipments from its Distribution Center per Michigan Governor Whitmer’s “Stay Home, Stay Safe” Executive order. Our Distribution Center is expected to resume non-seasonal shipping the week of May 4th, per the Governor’s order (extended from April 14th).
We respect that this order is intended to protect us all, and we believe it is in the best interest of Avanti employees and our community to stay home. We are taking this order very seriously while also looking for ways to support our customers, many of whom are continuing their operations that sustain and protect life.
The company continues to manage these uncertain times to the best of its ability, prioritizing safety and wellness. We believe this is a time to communicate and consult with customers, with sensitivity of course, but also with calm and steady confidence. Smart business partners weather storms together.
