1 card in a pocket = 1 Empty Pocket

A single card in a pocket is perceived as an Empty Pocket.

An empty pocket usually means a best seller is sold out! It all adds up to lost sales. It may not seem like a lot but even one empty pocket over 12 months could be over $200 in lost sales annually.

Having at least 3 cards per pocket is smart, and keeps you in compliance.

  • Shoppers like displays that look like new – empty pockets turn shoppers off
  • Its our job to keep pockets full particularly during 4th Quarter
  • Double up on Best Sellers: Order double packs when you find an empty pocket -those are your customers favorites 
  • Don’t wait in the 4th quarter – when in doubt pull the ticket.
  • Success is when there are always 3 cards or more in a pocket.

 

How to make sure you have more than 3 cards per pocket:

 

If on Avanti’s Pocket Control system: 

  • Please reorder the pockets that have 3 cards or less. Provide Avanti or your rep with your pocket numbers or we will be happy to place the order.
  • We recommend ordering double packs of best sellers/best birthday at eye level to make sure you have enough for November’s business.  This can count as your backstock although the pockets do hold 12 cards.

If NOT on Control or are flexible:   

  • Please order cards that you wish to reorder, or we can order you our TOP 12 Birthday or the New 12 Releases for all 3 brands. See Codes to use below. 
  • Whether on control or not, a collection of best-selling birthdays is always a good idea

How to be in Compliance with Seasonal Cards

Please ensure that once a season is over the cards not sold are removed and that Avanti issues you a credit. Ship the left-over cards back to and using the seasonal exchange form to:
