Paper & Print FSC-Certified
We’ve been printing on paper with recycled content since 1996. Our primary paper source is processed chlorine-free, which means the mill uses no toxic chlorine in the paper making process. Post-consumer recycled paper is typically bleached to remove the ink, which releases toxic gases into the atmosphere. Most Avanti cards have 30-35% recycled content, with 10% post-consumer content. All cards are printed in USA.
Our printer is FSC-certified. The intention of the FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) is to change manufacturing processes in order to eliminate habitat destruction, water pollution, displacement of indigenous peoples and violence against people and wildlife that often accompanies logging.
All of Avanti's multi-colored envelopes are 100% recycled from a carbon-neutral mill in the USA which has run on hydro-electric power for the past 90 years!
